Cherry Limeade Recipe
Recipe for homemade cherry limeade made with fresh cherries, limes, water and sugar or honey.

3 cups of cherries, pitted (can be fresh or frozen)
2 limes, quartered (peel on - pith removed)
6 cups water
½ – ¾ cups of sugar, honey or your favorite sweetener
Garnish: Cherries and lime slices
Combine the cherries and limes in the blender with the sugar and 2 cups of water. You can also add some ice if you want it extra cold. Blend until all the ingredients are pureed.
Strain the juice and add the rest of the water through the strainer
Serve cold or with ice garnished with cherries and lime slices.

As the weather heats up, it's a great time to cool down with a sweet and creamy treat straight from the freezer. These Cherry Limeade “Freezcakes” are the perfect summer treat that require just about 5 store bought ingredients, a night in the freezer, and next to zero effort to pull-off.
Note: The popsicle version DID work. But I definitely prefer the cupcake version.

Mini Lemonade Bundt Cakes | Jen Phanomrat
Transform your favorite lemonade flavors into these adorable mini bundt cakes! Full recipe below!

For the base lemonade cake batter:
2 cups cake flour
1 tsp baking soda
½ tsp salt
½ cup butter, softened
1 ¼ cups granulated sugar
2 eggs, whisked
2 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
2 tsp lemon zest
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup sour cream
For the lemonade glaze:
½ tbsp lemon juice
⅓ cup powdered sugar
2 drops yellow food coloring
For the pink lemonade batter & glaze:
2 drops red food coloring
½ tbsp strawberry puree
⅓ cup powdered sugar
For the mint limeade batter & glaze:
1 tsp lime zest
3 drops green food coloring
½ tbsp lime juice
⅓ cup powdered sugar
Fresh strawberry slices
Preheat oven to 350F. In a mixing bowl, combine butter and sugar. Mix until fluffy. Then add eggs, lemon juice, lemon zest, and vanilla. Then add flour and sour cream. Beat until combined.
Butter a mini bundt pan. Divide batter evenly in the wells. Bake for about 20-25 minutes, or until an inserted toothpick come out clean. Allow to cool in the pan for 5 minutes, and then invert onto a rack and set aside until completely cooled.
Meanwhile, prepare the glazes. In 3 separate bowls, whisk the glaze ingredients to form one lemonade, one pink lemonade, and one mint limeade glaze.
Spoon glazes on top of the cooled bundt cakes and garnish.

A really nice recipe for lemonade / juice. This recipe is at least in the top 2 of the most simple recipes I know with rhubarb. Fifteen minutes from start to finish. Including the 10 minutes where it just stands and simmer. If you have lots of rhubarb in the garden, and a large freezer, then this is the a really good way to use them. With the summer already here we can't get enough of these cool refreshing smoothies. Give this one a go if you are a cherry lover. And remember... you can never have too many cherries.
1c Low fat milk (we prefer Almond milk)
1/2c Plain yogurt
1/2 Banana (or 1 small banana)
10 Ice cubes
Add all ingredients to your blender (in the order above).
Blend all ingredients for 60-90 seconds (more for thinner, less for thicker).
If it gets too thin, add ice and blend a little more.

COCONUT CREAM MARTINI
1 oz. (30ml) Coconut Vodka
2 oz. (60ml) Half & Half
1 Tbsp Cream of Coconut
1. Rim edge of martini glass in honey and coconut flakes. Set aside.
2. In an ice filled glass combine coconut vodka, half and half and cream of coconut. Shake well until cream of coconut dissolves.
3. Strain mix into glass and garnish with cherry. Enjoy responsibly!

Spicy Watermelon Popsicle Recipe
Love sweet and spicy? Try this watermelon, tomato, and jalapeño popsicle recipe, made with fresh juice and whole fruit. This is your next summer dessert.
3 cups of seedless watermelon, cut into 1-inch cubes
2 organic tomatoes, peeled
3 jalapeños (use one if you don’t like too much spice)
1 Half the watermelon and then cut it into 1-inch slices.
2 Remove the rind and further cut the watermelon into 1-inch cubes.
3 Peel the tomatoes (see the video above for how).
4 Puree the watermelon and tomatoes. It is best if you do this in small batches.
5 Pour the pureed mixture through a strainer to remove the larger chunks. You can add some of this back later if you want to add some texture to your pops.
6 Thinly slice the jalapeño peppers.
7 Add the peppers to the watermelon-tomato puree and let sit in the refrigerator for about an hour. This will infuse the fruit juice with some heat. If you want more heat, instead of slicing the peppers, mince them and then strain them out later.
8 Divide the juice among the popsicle molds and place them in the freezer to set.

Forget the blender and learn to make margaritas with an ice cream machine.
Here's the recipe:
Ice Cream Maker Margaritas
Total: 1 hr 20 min
Active: 10 min
Yield: 4 servings
1/3 cup sugar
12 ounces tequila, chilled
1 cup fresh lime juice, chilled (from about 8 limes), plus 2 limes, cut into wedges, for serving
4 teaspoons orange-flavored liqueur, chilled
Kosher or rimming salt, for serving
Special equipment: an ice cream maker
Combine the sugar and 1/3 cup water in a small saucepan. Cook over low heat, stirring, until the sugar dissolves, about 5 minutes. Let cool completely.
Whisk together the tequila, lime juice, cooled sugar syrup, orange liqueur and 1 cup cold water in a medium bowl. Freeze until slushy in an ice cream maker according to the manufacturer's instructions, about 45 minutes (see Cook's Note). Transfer the frozen margaritas to a chilled pitcher. Store in the freezer until ready to serve.
Fill a small plate with an even layer of salt. Moisten the rims of 4 chilled rocks or wine glasses and press into the salt to rim the edges. Divide the margaritas among the glasses. Serve with lime wedges.
Cook's Note: Freezing time will vary depending on your ice cream maker.

If you like Chocolate Covered Cherries you will like these cookies! They are Chocolate Covered Cherries in a cookie form and perfect for Christmas, Valentine's Day or anytime you are in the mood for one. I have listed the recipe below should you decide to make them. Enjoy!
CHOCOLATE COVERED CHERRY COOKIES
1/2 cup softened butter
1 cup sugar
1 large egg
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. baking soda
30 to 48 Maraschino Cherries -blotted - ampoule will depend on the size cookie you make.
1 cup semisweet chocolate morsels
1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
2-4 tsps. Maraschino cherry juice from the jar
In a stand mixer cream together the butter and the sugar until light and fluffy.
Next beat in the egg and the vanilla extract.
In a separate bowl combine your dry ingredients.
Gradually add your dry ingredients to the creamed mixture and mix thoroughly.
Shape the dough into 1 inch round balls.
Place them on the cookie sheet.
Use your thumb to make a well in the center of the ball.
Place one cherry on each cookie in the well you make.
Bake the cookies for 10 minutes.
While the cookies are baking make your frosting by melting your chocolate chips and your condensed milk together. I use the microwave and check every 15 or 20 seconds by stirring to make sure the chocolate doesn't burn.
Next add your cherry juice to the chocolate mixture. Stir until smooth.
As soon as your cookies come out of the oven while still hot spoon one teaspoon of the frosting over the cherry covering it completely.
Allow your cookie to cool completely and make sure the chocolate is set before storing them in an airtight container.
I store mine is a single layer.
