This recipe is for pumpkin and chicken vol au vents. This vol au vents recipe is a great pumpkin and chicken recipe.

The ingredients for this Halloween recipe serving 2 are as follows:
2 large vol au vent cases
2 portions mushroom duxelle
100g chicken breast, small dice
60g pumpkin flesh, small dice
15g red chilli, fine dice
300ml chicken stock
30g plain flour
50ml double cream
Sea salt and freshly milled pepper, to taste
A few sprigs watercress, for garnish
A touch smoked paprika, for dusting

3 8oz. pks of cream cheese (softened)
1 15oz can of pureed pumpkin
2 eggs plus 1 yolk
1/4c sour cream
1 1/2 c sugar
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
1/8 tsp nutmeg
1/8 tsp ground cloves
2 Tbsp all purpose flour
1 tsp of vanilla extract
Graham Cracker Ready Crust (30)
1c of extra cold heavy whipping cream
1 Tbsp of confectioners sugar aka powdered sugar
FYI, confectioners sugar has a sweeter taste than the granulated sugar and you may taste the granules in bigger batches.

This video is about how I make MY mukimo. I find mukimo to be a very healthy dish (in my opinion). I make it this way, which I find easier and honestly, time saving.
Ingredients are things that can be found at any local supermarket; Green peas, maize and potatoes. Honestly though, measurements are a bit hard to explain but you can say that it's two and a half cups of peas to one cup of maize, I also added five potatoes. Try and make sure your maize is the soft one... don't let the soko ladies lie to you, finya hiyo maize uone imetoa maziwa.... sasa, good luck!

Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Bread
1 Flax Egg ( 2 Tablespoons grown Flaxseed with 5 tablespoons water , let sit 10 minutes)
1 15 oz can of Pumpkin Puree
2 1/4 cups of Oat Flour
1 teaspoon Baking Powder
1/4 -1/2 teaspoon cinnamon powder
2 teaspoons Pumpkin Pie Spice
1 Tablespoon lemon juice
1/2 cup unsweetened chocolate Chips
1/4 cup almond butter
1/2 cup Pure Maple Syrup
toppings : chopped walnuts more chocolate chips
Preheat Oven 350’
Mix all dry ingredients…whisk to remove lumps
Add Flax egg to center of dry ingredients…follow by all wet ingredients….stir together
Fold in Chocolate Chips
Pour batter into prepared loaf pan ( spray with coconut oil )
top with chopped walnuts and more chocolate chips
Bake 55-60 minutes until toothpick comes out clean. Enjoy!

1/4 cup International Delight Pumpkin Spice Creamer + 3/4 cup buttermilk, very warm (about 110 degrees F)

2 tablespoons vegetable oil
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 large egg, room temperature
1 teaspoon salt
3 3/4 cups all-purpose flour, plus up to 1/3 cup extra if needed
Pumpkin Spice Filling:
3/4 cup butter, softened
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup packed brown sugar
6 tablespoons white sugar
2 tablespoons pumpkin pie spice
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1/4 cup heavy cream, hot/warm
1-2 tablespoons instant-coffee or espresso powder
2 cups powdered (confectioners) sugar
In a large bowl or bowl of your stand mixer, whisk together the warm creamer/buttermilk, instant/rapid rise/fast rise dry yeast, sugar, 6 tablespoons of the melted butter, oil, vanilla, eggs and salt. Slowly mix in flour, 1 cup at a time, with a wooden spoon or spatula (or paddle attachment on your stand mixer on low speed) until the flour is incorporated and the dough starts to come together (dough will be tacky to the touch, if it is way too sticky, you may add up to 1/3 cup extra flour, as needed). Then, knead dough, by hand on a lightly floured surface a few times (or on medium speed in your mixer with the dough hook) until it is smooth and and elastic, about 1 minute. Form the dough into a ball and place in a bowl coated with vegetable oil. Roll dough in bowl to coat in oil. Cover with a towel and place it in a warm, draft-free place to rise for about 60-90 minutes, or until doubled in size.
Meanwhile, spray the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish with nonstick spray and prepare the filling. Mix together the softened butter, vanilla, brown sugar, white sugar, pumpkin spice, cinnamon and cornstarch.
Once the dough has doubled in size, turn it out onto a lightly floured work surface and, using a rolling pin, roll into a 12x18 inch rectangle. Spread the filling all over the top, so entire surface is fully covered.
Roll the dough up tightly, lengthwise, so you have one long 18 log. Cut dough into 12 equal pieces (~1 1/2 long) by cutting in half, then cut halves into halves, then cut those halves into thirds, to get 12 equal pieces. Arrange them in the prepared baking pan, cut sides up. Brush the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter over the tops.
MAKE TOADAY: Loosely cover and let rise a second time in a warm, draft-free place, until they are puffy and doubled in size, about 60 minutes. (To speed up the dough rising process, heat your oven to 200 F degrees and then, turn off the oven heat and let your rolls rise quickly in the warm oven until puffy and doubled in size.)
OVERNIGHT METHOD: After placing rolls in pan, instead of letting them rise, cover tightly and refrigerate overnight, or up to 16 hours. The next morning, remove from fridge and let the rolls sit in a warm, draft-free place, until they are puffy and doubled in size, about 60 minutes.
Preheat the oven to 350°F. Once the rolls have risen, bake for about 25-30 minutes, until they are golden brown.
While the rolls are baking, prepare the glaze by stirring together the warm cream and coffee powder until dissolved. Stir into powdered sugar, in a large bowl or cup with a spout, until smooth.
Pour the glaze over warm rolls and top with a sprinkle of cinnamon or pumpkin spice. Serve immediately.

How-To: Make Cold Buckwheat Noodles with Mission Chinese Food
In this episode of How-To, Danny Bowien and Angela Dimayuga of Mission Chinese Food make naengmyeon, or cold buckwheat noodles, in the MUNCHIES Test Kitchen.
These chewy buckwheat noodles with an icy broth are served with a variety of condiments (mustard cured eggs, peach-chili sauce, and fresh herbs) and delight the senses with their cold temperature and spicy flavors. Although this might seem like a summer dish, in Korea, it's common to eat cold dishes in the winter. So next time it snows, try making this dish instead of a hot soup.

How to Make Pastéis de Nata AKA Portuguese Custard Tarts | Cupcake Jemma
I am so, so pleased that these things exist. They are just the BEST! If you've never tried one then you need to make these. A little bit fiddly but heaps easier than you might think. And, you don't need to go all the way to Lisbon to get one now (although that would still rule!)
For the pastry...
290g plain flour
1/4 tsp salt
240g very soft unsalted butter
extra flour for dusting
For the custard...
40g plain flour
240g caster sugar
1 cinnamon stick
another 250ml milk
