3 Pita Pizza Recipes: Quick & Easy Dinner in 15 Minutes!
Get dinner on the table in 15 minutes with these quick and easy pita pizza recipes. They're great for a weeknight meal and impressive enough for a birthday party!

Breakfast Pizza:
1 pocketless-pita or naan bread
A handful of fresh baby spinach leaves
3-4 tablespoons pizza sauce
Shredded mozzarella cheese
1-2 tablespoons crumbled feta cheese
2 kalamata olives, pitted and sliced
Sliced bell peppers
1 egg
Dried oregano
Preheat the oven to 525 °F, 275 °C.
Place the pita bread on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
Spread the pizza sauce over the pita.
Top with spinach, mozzarella, and feta cheese. Leave some room in the center for the egg.
Sprinkle the kalamata olives and the bell peppers on top.
Crack the egg into a bowl then transfer to the center of the pita.
Sprinkle the egg with some salt and oregano.
Pace the baking tray onto the center rack of the oven and bake for 5 minutes.
Turn the broiler element on and broil for 2 minutes or until the egg white is set and the center is still runny.
Enjoy!
The Classic Pizza:
1 pocketless-pita or naan bread
3-4 tablespoons pizza sauce
Shredded mozzarella cheese
Your favorite toppings: olives, peppers, onions, mushrooms, etc.)
Preheat the oven to 525 °F, 275 °C.
Place the pita bread on a baking tray lined with parchment paper and spread the pizza sauce on top.
Cover the sauce with mozzarella cheese and your favorite toppings.
Bake on the center rack of the oven for 5 minutes then Broil for 2 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly. Enjoy!
Barbeque Chicken Pizza:
3-4 tablespoons barbeque sauce
Leftover roasted chicken thinly sliced or chopped.
Shredded mozzarella cheese
Feta cheese or blue cheese, crumbled
Your favorite toppings: olives, bell peppers, jalapeno slices, etc.
Preheat the oven to 525 °F, 275 °C.
Place the pita bread on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
Spread the barbeque sauce on top of the pita.
Top with chicken, cheese, and the toppings.
Bake on the center rack for 5 minutes then Broil for 2 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly. Enjoy!
For the Pizza Sauce:
15 ounce can of crushed tomatoes
1.5 oz. tomato paste (put the rest in an airtight container and freeze for another recipe)
½ teaspoon dried oregano
1/8 teaspoon (or more) crushed red pepper flakes
1 and ½ teaspoons sugar
1 teaspoon dried basil
Combine all of the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.

CHICKEN MARINATION:
1 fillet (250gms)cut into small cubes
1/4th tsp crushed red chillies
1 tsp vinegar
1/4th tsp salt.
cook the chicken in 1 tsp oil.

Mexican pita pockets
• 1tbsp oil
• 1tbsp Ginger Garlic paste
• 1/2cup paneer
• Black pepper
• Salt
• In bowl
• 1/2cup tomatoes
• 1/4th cup onion
• 1/4th cup capsicum
• 1/4th cup bell pepper
• 2tbsp Jalapeños
• 2tbsp olives
• Fresh coriander
• Lemon juice
• Salt
• Red chilli flakes
• Seasoned paneer
• Pita bread
Description:
• Set a pan on a medium flame and add oil, ginger garlic paste, paneer, black pepper and salt
• Mix well and cook for some time
• In bowl add tomatoes, onion, capsicum, bell pepper, jalapeños, olives, fresh coriander and lemon juice, salt and red chilli flakes
• Then add seasoned paneer
• Mix well and keep aside
• Now take a pita bread and cook on a grill pan, cut into 2 slices as shown in the video
• Then open the bread from the middle and add seasoned paneer mixture in it
• Cut into pieces and serve immediately

5 guajillo chilies
3 roma tomatoes
1 onion

1 tablespoon (14g) panela grated
Salt to taste
Beans:
3tbsp (42g) unsalted butter
1 onion
4 cloves garlic
2 jalapeños
2 cans black beans
1.5 cup chicken stock

Ground Beef:
1 lb ground beef
3 cloves garlic
1 tablespoon soy sauce

Stuffed Pita Pockets In Gujarati | Snacky Ideas by Amisha Doshi | Sanjeev Kapoor Khazana
Pita Bread pockets stuffed with 2 different types of vegetarian fillings.
STUFFED PITA POCKETS
Ingredients
4 pita breads
¼ cup sour cream
Grated processed cheese for topping
Butter for brushing
Tomato ketchup as required
Cheese sauce stuffing
1 tablespoon butter
1 tablespoon refined flour
1 cup milk
2-3 tbsps grated processed cheese
1 teaspoon dried oregano
Crushed black peppercorns to taste
Salt to taste
2-3 tablespoons boiled corn kernels
¼ medium bunch fresh fenugreek leaves (methi), blanched and chopped
3-4 fresh basil leaves, shredded
Mexican stuffing
2 tablespoons Mexican sauce
½ cup boiled red kidney beans, mashed
1 medium tomato, deseeded and finely chopped
Salt to taste
Crushed black peppercorns to taste
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon red chilli powder
Method
1. Preheat oven to 180° C.
2. To prepare Mexican stuffing, heat 1 tablespoon oil in a non-stick pan. Add tomato and sauté for 30 seconds.
3. Add salt, crushed peppercorns, dried oregano and chilli powder and sauté for 1 minute. Add kidney beans, mix and cook for 1-2 minutes. Mash well using the back of the spatula.
4. Add 2-3 tablespoons water and Mexican paste, mix and cook for 1-2 minutes or till the moisture evaporates. Transfer in a bowl.
5. To prepare cheese sauce stuffing, heat butter in another non-stick pan. Add flour and sauté for 30 seconds.
6. Add milk and cook on medium heat till mixture thickens, mixing continuously. Reduce heat, add cheese, dried oregano, crushed peppercorns, salt, corn kernels, fenugreek leaves and basil leaves, mix and cook for 1-2 minutes.
7. Halve pita breads and slit with one side intact to make pockets.
8. Pour some sour cream, put some Mexican stuffing in half of pita bread pocket and top with some processed cheese.
9. Put some white sauce stuffing in remaining pita bread pockets and top with some cheese.
10. Put the prepared pita pockets on a baking tray and brush some butter on top. Put the tray into the preheated oven and bake for 5-7 minutes. Remove from oven and brush some butter on top.
11. Spread some tomato ketchup on a serving platter, place the stuffed pita pockets and serve hot.

How To Make Arayes - Pita Stuffed With Meat
Arayes - delicious grilled pita bread sandwiches stuffed with meat (beef or lamb). This middle eastern dish is crispy in the outside and juicy in the inside. You can cook them on the grill or in striped frying pan. This meal is good for lunch, dinner or even BBQ party.

Ingredients:
700g ground beef/lamb
1 cup parsley finely chopped
1 medium onion - finely chopped
1 tsp Baharat
1/2 tsp cumin
1 tsp salt
1 tsp black pepper
2+5 tbsp olive oil
12 pitas (recipe for homemade pita bread:
1/4 cup toasted pine nuts (optional)
Directions:
1. In a large bowl place beef, chopped onion, chopped parsley, salt, pepper, Baharat, cumin, 2 tbsp olive oil, pine nuts (optional) and Mix well.
2. Cut each pita in half and fill with 60g of meat mixture.
3. Brush with olive oil on both sides of the pita
4. Fry the pitas in striped frying pan over high heat, 2 minutes from each side, first on open side.
5. Serve with fresh salad and tahini

-Chakki ka aata (Whole wheat flour) sifted 1 Cup
-Maida (All-purpose flour) sifted ½ Cup
-Namak (Salt) ½ tsp
-Olive oil 1 tbs
-Pani (Water) lukewarm 1 Cup or as required
Mince Filling:
-Olive oil 2 tbs
-Pyaz (Onion) chopped ½ Cup
-Adrak lehsan (Ginger garlic) chopped 1 tbs
-Hari mirch (Green chilies) chopped 1 tsp
-Qeema (Mince of your choice) 300 gms
-Kali mirch (Black pepper) crushed 1 tsp
-Namak (Salt) ½ tsp or to taste
-Hara dhania (Fresh coriander) chopped 2 tbs
Tomato Salsa:
-Tamatar (Tomatoes) deseeded & chopped 1 Cup
-Pyaz (Onion) chopped ½ Cup

-Zeera (Cumin seeds) crushed ½ tsp

-Dahi (Yogurt) strained 1 Cup

Directions:
For Whole Wheat Pita Bread:
-In lukewarm water,add instant yeast,brown sugar and mix well,cover and let it rest for 5 minutes.
-In bowl,add whole wheat flour,all-purpose flour,salt and mix well.
-Add olive oil and mix well.
-Add yeast mixture and mix well.
-Gradually add lukewarm water and knead until dough is formed.
-Grease your hands with olive oil and grease the dough.
-Cover and let it rest for 45 minutes or until double in size.
-Knead dough again,take a small dough and make a ball.
-Sprinkle flour and roll out dough with the help of rolling pin.
-Option 1: Heat griddle and place pita,cook on low flame from both sides.
-Option 2: Place pita breda on baking tray and bake in preheated oven at 230 C for 5-6 minutes.
For Mince Filling:
-In frying pan,add olive oil and onion,mix well.
-Add ginger garlic crushed and mix well.
-Add green chilies and mince,mix well and cook until changes color.
-Add black pepper crushed and salt,mix & cook until done.
-Add fresh coriander & set aside.
For Tomato Salsa:
-In bowl,add tomatoes,onion,fresh coriander,cumin seeds,black pepper crushed,green chilies,lemon juice and salt,mix well & set aside.
For Yogurt Dip:
-In bowl,add yogurt,black pepper crushed,garlic,green chilies,fresh coriander and salt and whisk well.
Assembling:
-Cut pita bread from the center,stuffed with cooked mince filling,ice berg,tomato salsa,yogurt dip & serve.

-Bowl mein chakki ka atta,miada aur namak dal ker ache tarhan mix ker lein.
-Olive oil dal ker ache tarhan mix karein.
-Khameer mixture dal ker ache tarhan mix ker lein.
-Thora thora ker ka neem garam pani shamil karein aur ghond ker dough tayyar ker lein.
-Haathon ko olive oil sa grease karein aur dough ko grease ker elin.
-Dhak dein aur 45 minutes ya size double hunay tak rakh dein.
-Dough ko dubara ghond lein aur chota dough la ker ball bana lein.
-Atta chirak dein aur dough ko rolling pin ki madad sa bail lein.
-Option 1: Tawa garam karein aur pita bread ko rakh ker halki ancch per dono sides sa paka lein.
-Option 2: Pita bread ko baking tray per rakh dein aur preheated oven mein 230 C per 5-6 minutes kliya bake ker lein.
For Mince Filling:
-Frying pan mein olive oil aur pyaz dal ker ache tarhan mix karein.
-Adrak lehsan crushed dal ker ache tarhan mix ker lein.
-Hari mirch aur qeema dal ker ache tarhan mix karein aur aur rang tabdeel hunay tak paka lein.
-Kali mirch crushed aur namak dal ker ache tarhan mix karein aur pak janay tak paka lein.
-Hara dhania dal ker side per rakh dein.
For Tomato Salsa:
-Bowl mein tamatar,pyaz,hara dhania,zeera,kali mirch crushed,hari mirch,lemon juice aur namak dal ker mix karein & side per rakh dein.
For Yogurt Dip:
-Bowl mein dahi,kali mirch crushed,lehsan,hari mirch,hara dhania aur namak dal ker ache tarhan whisk ker lein.
Assembling:
-Pita bread ko center mein sa cut karein aur cooked mince filling,ice berg,tomato salsa aur yogurt dip dal ker serve karein.
Greek Chicken Pita Pizza ON THE GRILL! (or Oven)
In this video I make Greek Chicken pita Pizza! ON THE GRILL! It is a delicious, easy, healthy meal!
Ingredients:
White Garlic Sauce:
50/50 mixture mayonnaise and Greek plain low fat yogurt
Garlic minced or garlic powder to taste
Salt to taste
Black pepper to taste
Squeeze of Lemon
Dill to taste (optional)
Mix thoroughly and refrigerate 1 hour
Marinate approx 1/2-1 pound of chicken in Greek dressing per pizza for at least an hour. Over night it better
Turn Grill on to high and let pizza stone heat up.
If cooking in the oven preheat oven to 450.
Shred about a 1/3 cup of Parmesan cheese
Shred 1/3 cup low moisture whole milk mozzarella
Crumble 1/4 cup Feta Cheese
Put the white garlic sauce on the pita, then the Parmesan, cover with chicken and press down into the white sauce for stability. Spread mozzarella over the chicken. Crumble the feta onto the pizza.
Grill: Put pizza on stone on the grill. Mine takes 3 minutes but keep watching and check the bottom so it does not burn.
Oven: Put pizza in oven for 10 minutes check every few minutes it is not burning.
Lightly toss greens of your choice in Greek dressing and put it on top of the pizza.
Cut and enjoy with someone you care about!
