Jamie’s back with a twist on a roast leg of lamb recipe using anchovies as a secret and surprisingly tasty ingredient. Along with the more traditional rosemary and garlic, anchovies give the meat a unique flavour – and trust us on this – you will totally love it. An Italian inspired mint sauce with capers, mustard and parsley, an easy onion gravy sweetened with redcurrant jelly and the most tender meat you’ve ever tasted. This dish is mouthwateringly good. Serve with potato and swede mash for a hearty and super satisfying meal – what are you waiting for? Tuck in!.

You cannot beat a Spring roast leg of lamb, usually under five months old, probably the ultimate Sunday roast. It's actually quite easy to make, just follow a few simple steps and your lamb will be to die for. This one has the bone still attached, hence making it tastier and extra moist, my preference. Lamb is a wine friendly meat, so have it with a nice bottle of medium to full bodied red, like a Bordeaux or Cabernet Sauvignon.

Best diet plan for gout disease - What Foods To Avoid For Gout
Welcome back to our You Tube channel today here in this video we will tell about WHAT FOODS TO AVOID FOR GOUT. Some foods and drinks gout patients should avoid. Research has shown that losing weight and increasing water intake can help reduce gout symptoms. However, There is another way patients with gout can reduce their symptoms avoiding certain types of foods and drinks that can trigger flares. When dispensing gout medications such as colchicines, pharmacists can take the opportunity to educate patients about common dietary triggers of gout. Here are a few example of foods and drinks that may worsen gout symptoms are certain meat especially organ meat, should be avoided if possible, as it is rich in purine. Purine compounds can raise uric acid levels, which then build up in the joints and cause painful gout symptoms. Examples of meats that gout patients should avoid are bacon, turkery, goose and veal, vension and organs meats such as liver, kidneys and sweetbreads. Meatlovers should try to stick to chicken and duck instead. In addition, leg meat is a preferred option over breast meat and skin. Certain seafood is cutting back on seafood during a gout flare up can be should avoid, selfish, anchovies and sardines, herring, mussels , scallops , coldfish, trout, haddock, shrimp, lobster, eel, crab and safer seafood choices for patients with gout. Vegetables and fungi high in purines asparagus, cauliflower, spinach, and mushrooms are high in purines, so patients with gout should not consume large amounts of these foods. However, patients tend to be able to excrete purines fro, vegetables better than they do from meat, so consumption of these vegetables and fungi does not have to be as limited as meat intake.
