2 Easy Recipes Using Whole Fresh Cranberries | Vegan
Here are 2 Easy Recipes Using Whole Fresh Cranberries for you to try for the holidays (or any time you feel like havin' cranberries, which for me is ANY time!)
The Cranberry Sauce with Orange Juice and Mulled Spices recipe is totally vegan - no gelatin like some commercial cranberry sauces. AND you don't end up with a loaf of jelly in the shape of a can!
This recipe is now one of my absolute favorites because I use this cranberry sauce/jelly for all kinds of stuff - on oatmeal, toast, ice cream...use your imagination! I even like just eating straight it out of the jar, ya know what I'm sayin'?
And of course, it makes an excellent side dish at any holiday meal, especially my perfect Tofurky recipe!
To get the full recipe click this link:
Here's the video for my perfect Tofurky recipe:
The Cranberry Apple Pie is super easy and super yummy! The perfect sweet treat to end a holiday meal (or just to be a little indulgent any ol' time!).
Made with fresh apples and cranberries, it's actually kinda healthy!
I used a pre-made pie crust for this one, which makes this recipe so darn easy!
But if you prefer to make your own crust, try the one I used for my Tofu Quiche:

Hi Cookies, above is my variety of Mooncake recipe’s Playlist, Click to watch them~ Today, I am making Five Nuts Mooncake that many people asked about. The reason why it is called Five Nuts is because the traditional filling is literally made of 5 different kinds of nuts. After improvement, the Five Nuts Mooncake now have different dried fruits added. Today I used candied winter melon, dried cranberries, candied orange peel, not only added sweet and sour taste, but also added another level of natural color. The outer crust is the traditional Cantonese Mooncake crust, which will return oil, blending the flavors of fillings and crust together, making the crust soft and shiny. After 3 days of oil return, it was cut open, the interior texture is so beautiful, with densely packed cross session of various nuts.
:-) Enjoy and share photos of your creation with me on my Facebook Page.

How to make Joan's Meal Replacement Bars for quick weight loss
Joan Loganeski explains and demonstrates how to make her FREE meal replacement bars to lose weight fast without struggling. Simple and delicious meal replacement bars from The Saturday Morning Diet Plan.
Many people are desperately trying to get their weight under control. Everywhere you look, there is inexpensive junk type food. Obesity is becoming a serious epidemic in many countries, these days. Many people are turning to diet meal bars. Here are some good things and not so good things, to consider.
Convenience is a major advantage to these products. You do not have to worry about meal preparation. If you live alone, there is a great deal less work. You do not have to concern yourself with what to eat. Simply open up the package and enjoy your meal.
Of course, you want the bar to have all the nutrients your body needs and not be loaded with sugar and fat which is why you need to pay close attention to what goes into the bars and your best bet is really to make them yourself. Sign up for our email list on the right and you'll get a free recipe for our delicious and nutritious Joan Bars!
These bars are very portable. You can easily put them into a pocket or purse. Take one with you to work, for lunch.
The cost of some products may seem high. However, it is important to figure the cost of a normal dinner. You will most likely, save money this way. But if you make your diet meal bars yourself the cost is minimal
You can receive good nutrition this way. It is important to compare different products. Some are more nutritious than others. Many times, people will skip breakfast or lunch. These products are so convenient that you may find yourself eating, more often. When you eat often, you keep your metabolism up. Skipping breakfast or lunch is not good for any diet.
This is a good way to stay on a low calorie diet. You know exactly how many calories that you are consuming with diet meal bars. You will not have to worry about stretching your stomach or overeating.
This makes it simple to keep track of your daily intake. You may decide to replace lunch, for example. When you get home, simply write down the calorie total for lunch.
Some people may use these products too often. They are not designed to be your total diet. They should be used to supplement your diet. Take caution that you do not get caught up in the maze of fad diets. You still need to eat food and drink plenty of water. Remember that not all of these products are created equal. Some will be better than others. If they make fantastic claims, be skeptical. You still have to do the work.
There are many advantages to diet meal bars. They offer a great deal of convenience for active lifestyles. They may also save you money on certain meals. It is a good way to keep track of your daily intake. Be careful that you do not use them as your only source of food. They are not designed for that.
Of course, the most nutritious and healthy are diet meal bars are Joan Bars! Traditional diets are time consuming. You need time to prepare healthy food and it takes longer time for you to achieve your ideal weight. However diet with meal replacement food like meal replacement shakes and meal replacement bars are much faster for producing you the result
Bill and Joan Loganeski have discovered a meal replacement you can make at home for very little money and when combined with our Saturday Morning Diet plan it will help you lose the weight. Scottish Fruit Slice and Currant Cakes | Let's Celebrate TV
Whether you call it Fruit Slice, Fruit Squares or Currant Cakes, this treat can be found in most bakeries in Scotland. A sweet treat in a flaky crust, this old family recipe was sent in by a viewer. I've recreated it to make it foolproof for non-bakers like myself.
The posh name for this delicious concoction is Fruit Slice but it is often called Fly Cemetery as the filling of currants does look a bit like a collection of dead flies!
Idea and contribution credit goes to Kevin - The Basic Filmmaker with extra special thanks to his mom, Joan, for letting us re-imagine her recipe.
Thinking about starting your own YouTube Channel, check out Basic Filmmaker University.
1 box of premade refrigerated pie crusts
8 oz. Zante Currants
1/3 cup sugar
4 tablespoons softened butter
1 rounded tablespoon pumpkin spice
2 eggs, beaten w/a little water
Sugar for dusting
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Remove pie crusts from the refrigerator and let stand for 15 minutes.
In a bowl mix the currants, sugar, butter and pumpkin pie spice until well combined.
On your work surface, sprinkle a small amount of flour and unroll one of the piece crusts. Using a bowl or cardboard as a guide, cut out 3 - 5 round pieces of crush, set on to sheet pan with parchment paper. Repeat for the second crust to and up with tops and bottoms for 3 cakes.
On each of the bottom crusts, place 1/2 cup of the filling in the center Flatten slightly with the bottom of the measuring cup. Place the top crust over the fruit mixture and press to join the edges. Crimp crust edges together with a fork.
Brush with the egg mixture and sprinkle with a generous pinch of sugar . Using the fork, prick the top a few times to allow the steam to escape while baking.
Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until golden brown.
Joan's Original Currant Cake Recipe
Take favorite pastry (I use —3 cup flour, 1 cup shortening, 1 teaspoon salt —-recipe for crust. Divide into pieces size of large orange (about 5 pieces).
Soak currants in hot water while making crust, then drain well.
Pat piece of pastry out in circle, not too thin, size of dessert plate (?) on lightly floured surface. Put a good 1/2 cup currants in middle of pastry circle. Top with healthy Tablespoon of brown sugar, pat of butter and generous shake of cinnamon. Leave some room around outer edges so dough can be brought up and over to center to cover filling. Seal completely.
Turn over carefully onto baking sheet and gently pat with fingers to about 1/2” thick. Prick with fork and brush with milk.
Bake until brown in a 400* oven, approximately 30 minutes.

How To Make A Cranberry Salad (w/ Walnuts)
Sunday, January 14th, 2018 :— Metro-Detroit :— OP-1 | Teenage Engineering :— “Cranberries Going In Salads” (SAMPLE SOURCE — Band: Isaac Hayes :— Track: “Going In Circles”) :— How To Make Cranberry Salad :— I decided to seek out some cranberries at Eastern Market in Detroit. I got a half-gallon of dry harvest, locally-grown cranberries for just ten-dollars. The nice salesman told me this jannock (fantastic word) recipe, which I have done for you on camera, substituting cranberry juice in place of honey, which I ran out of while practicing this recipe all week. :—:— @robertchristgau - Since there is no listed grade for Hayes’ “Black Moses” record, I assume it falls between its immediate siblings (“Shaft” [C+] & “Live…” [B-]) in its Truth, Goodness, & Beauty, as judged by you. :—:— My thoughts: Snappily-mastered. Atmospheric. Passionate and driven. :—:— #IsaacHayes # #HotButteredSoul #BlackMoses #IsaacHayesLives #Shaft @thebarkays #TheBarKays #BarKays #WillieHall #RonnieHudson #JamesAlexander #MichaelTotes #enterpriserecords #staxrecords #KeepingTheFunkAlive :— #teenageengineering @op1andchill #op1 #op1andchill #Jamuary #Jamuary2018 :— Who are the masters of this sound machine? P.S.S. @isaachayes3 @_issachayes What food inspires you lately, Mr. Hayes III?
