Beef and Cheese Stuffed Pastry Recipe:
Stuffing:
- 4-5 cremini mushrooms finely diced, 3 Tbs. of onions finely diced, sauté together in a pan until golden brown on a medium to high heat with 1 tsp. of each butter and olive oil, season with a pinch of salt and pepper at the end of browning and stir well, place in a large mixing bowl and add the following:
- 2 cups of cooked roast beef, finely diced
- 1 cup of herb and garlic or chive cream cheese ( room temperature for easy mixing )
- 3 Tbs. of mayonnaise or chunky blue cheese dressing
- 2 cups of grated Italian cheese mix
- 3 tsp. of horseradish ( more or less to taste )
Mix all thoroughly, place in the fridge while preparing the pastry
The Pastry:
- Frozen Puff Pastry Sheets, two 10''X10'' sheets per box and thats how many you'll need for this recipe. Thaw in the fridge overnight prior to using
- Sprinkle flour on rolling surface, lay out puff pastry sheet on top, sprinkle flour on hands, on top of pastry and on roller to prevent sticking
- Gently roll out the pastry sheet to evenly add approximately 2'' on each side
- Using a sharp knife place slits 1-1/2 wide and 3 long on 2 apposing sides (see video)
- Lay half the filling down the centre where there are no slits, spread evenly into a loaf
- Fold in the end slits first then crisscross the cut slits all the way down the loaf, trim any excess with the knife ( see video )
- Do the same with the second loaf
- Place the Beef and Cheese Puff Pastry's on a cookie sheet with parchment paper
- Beat one egg in a bowl and brush it on top of each Beef and Cheese Puff Pastry
- Add a pinch of salt and pepper on top
- Place in a pre heated 375F oven for 25-30 or until golden brown
Great as a meal or cut into small portions for an appetizer

This recipe will become a family favorite!INGREDIENTS
• 120g bread
• 200ml/7oz milk
• 800g ground-beef
•2 eggs
• 100g/0.7cup grated parmesan
• salt
• pepper
•nutmeg
• 100g Prague ham
• 150g/1cup mozzarella
• 1 roll of rectangular puff pastry
• 1 yolk
METHOD
Soak the bread in milk. Squeeze. Add ground meat, salt, pepper, nutmeg, 2 eggs, parmesan and mix.
On the sheet of parchment paper put the ground-meat in the form of a rectangular shape. Put the ham and cheese. Form a roll. Roll the roll in puff pastry. Grease with the yolk. Bake in the oven at 180 ° / 350 ° F for 30-35 minutes.

Puff Pastry Stuffed Burger
Ingredients:
8 Slices Bacon
4 Quarter Pound Beef Burgers
Sesame seeds (optional)
70g Cheese.
1 Tbsp Oil
500g Puff Pastry.
2 Tsp Mustard.
1 Beaten egg.
1 Tsp Sesame Seeds.
Instructions:
Weave together four slices of bacon on a work surface.
Place the first burger in the centre of the bacon.
Cut the cheese in half and place in the centre of the burger.
Add the second burger to the top sandwiching in the cheese.
Squeeze and crimp the sides together before folding over the bacon.
Repeat with to create a second stuffed burger.
Add the oil to a pan and cook the patties until golden on both sides.
Take the puff pastry and roll out to 3-4mm thick and create 2 X 27-30cm squares.
Place a square of puff pastry on your work surface and add 1 teaspoon of mustard to the centre.
Drop your burger on the mustard.
Using a sharp knife cut out the corners of the puff pastry to create a cross shape.
Fold up the puff pastry using beaten egg to secure the pastry.
Repeat to make a second parcel then brush with beaten egg and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
Bake in the oven at 220°C or 430°F for 20-25 minutes.

Ground Beef Pastry Pie - Bonita's Kitchen
Welcome to Bonita's Kitchen!
Today we will be making Ground Beef Pastry Pie, made with fresh vegetables, lean ground beef and a flaky pastry pie crust.
Ingredients:
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 1/2 pounds lean ground beef
1 medium onion, chopped
1 1/2 medium carrots, finely chopped
2 ribs celery, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 Tsp ground Rosemary
1/3 cup beef broth
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 Tbsp Corn Starch
Salt and pepper
1 large egg
Pastry for 1 double-crust pie pan, homemade or store-bought.
Method:
Pre - Heat oven to 400°
1. Homemade pie crust or store bought, using 9-inch glass pie plate. 2. In frying pan, cook beef, salt, ground rosemary and pepper, chopped carrots, celery and onion with 1/3 cup beef broth over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally, until beef is thoroughly cooked.
3. Stir cornstarch into beef mixture until mixed.
4. Stir and cook for another few minutes over medium-high heat, stirring constantly, until hot.
5. Spoon into uncooked pie pan.
6. Top with second crust; seal edge and pinch together, mix egg white and brush over top of crust.
7. Cut slits in several places in top crust, place on cookie sheet in oven to help from spilling in oven.
Bake 35 to 40 minutes or until crust is golden brown.
Let rise for 5 minutes before cutting, top with gravy.
Pie Crust:
2 cup white or wheat flour
1/2 cup Cold Butter
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup cold water
1 piece wax paper
Mix flour, butter ( chop in pieces) and salt together in bowl mix with your hand or food processor when mixed add water mix until it shapes into a ball then remove from bowl/mixer.
Put a piece of parchment paper on the counter and sprinkle with flour then cut the ball into two pieces then put your pastry ball on top of it then roll until all even.
If you are only making one pie crust, roll the other on parchment paper then cover with a piece of clear wrap and roll away from your. Then freeze for another use.

¼ tsp Salt

Nutmeg
½ tbsp Tomato Ketchup
1 tsp Japanese Worcestershire Sauce
100ml Cake Flour or substitute all purpose flour (3.5 fl oz)
½ Beaten Egg
600ml Soft Bread Crumbs (2.5 cups)
Vegetable Oil: 170°C, 1.5cm deep / 340°F, 0.6 inch deep
- Menchi-katsu Sauce -
1 tbsp Tonkatsu Sauce
1 tbsp Japanese Worcestershire Sauce
1 tbsp Tomato Ketchup
1 tbsp Hot Water

Growing Up in New York, I was constantly surrounded by great food at every corner whether it was hot dog stands, pizza parlors, or beef patty stands. I decided to recreate one of my all time favorite foods growing up as a child and I hope that all of you enjoy it as much as I do.
Ingredients:
-Puff Pastry 1 package
-1 LB Beef
-2 teaspoons curry powder
-1-1/2 teaspoons thyme
-Salt *according to your taste
-1 small onion
-3 scallions
-3 teaspoons minced garlic or 3 cloves finely chopped garlic
-Peppers *optional
-1/4 cup chicken stock or broth
-1/4 cup plain bread crumbs or Italian style

Ingredients
2 pounds premium ground beef (80 percent lean and 20 percent fat)
1 tablespoon good Dijon mustard
3 tablespoons good olive oil, plus extra for brushing the grill
1 teaspoon chopped thyme leaves
3 teaspoons chopped garlic
1 teaspoon kosher salt
1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
6 ounces grated Gruyere
12 small Brioche buns
4 ounces baby arugula
3 medium tomatoes, sliced in 1/8-inch-thick rounds
2 small red onions, sliced in 1/8-inch-thick rounds
Ketchup, for serving
Directions
Build a charcoal fire or heat a gas grill.
Place the ground beef in a large bowl and add the mustard, olive oil, thyme, garlic, salt, and pepper. Mix gently with a fork to combine, taking care not to compress the ingredients. Shape the meat into 12 (2-inch) patties of equal size and thickness.
When the grill is medium-hot, brush the grill grate with oil to keep the sliders from sticking. Place the sliders on the grill and cook for 4 minutes. Turn the sliders over with a spatula and cook for another 4 to 6 minutes, until medium-rare, or cook longer if you prefer the sliders more well done. For the last 2 minutes of cooking time, place 1/2-ounce Gruyere on the top of each burger and close the grill lid. Remove the sliders to a platter and cover with foil.
Slice the buns in half crosswise and toast the halves cut side down on the grill.
Divide the baby arugula among the 12 bottom buns, top each with a slider, and finish with a slice of tomato and red onion. Cover with the top of the bun and serve hot with ketchup.
