Tofu BBQ | Delish PH
Love tofu? You might want to try this healthy bbq recipe. It might be your first time to know that your favorite tofu can be turned into a delicious barbeque recipe. With this recipe, we will be using a grillpan instead of a traditional grilling. But we will season the tofu so it would taste like bbq.
2 tbsp. Lemon/Calamansi
1 tbsp. Soy Sauce
1 tsp. Oyster Sauce
2 tbsp. Ketchup
1 tsp. Garlic Powder
1 tsp. Chili Powder
4 cloves Garlic (crushed)

INGREDIENTS (to make 6 meals, but can double or triple to make a ton!):
6 small russet potatoes
2 (420g) package of tofu
3 bell peppers
1/4 cup olive oil
1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
2 tbsp Sir Kensington’s Spicy Brown Mustard
STORAGE AND REHEATING DIRECTIONS:
1. All meals will be fine in the fridge for 5 days.
2. Freeze all the meals you will not eat in the first 4 days.
3. If you decide to freeze them they will last for 3 months.
4. Take the meal out the night before you plan to eat and place in fridge to thaw.
5. Once thawed, reheat in the oven or saute pan for a few minutes or eat cold... or put in your Hot Logic!

Grilled BBQ Tofu
The best and easiest marinade ever – no-fuss and packed with so much flavor! You’ll never need another grilled tofu recipe again!
Seriously. It doesn’t get any easier than this recipe. And it’s practically fool-proof.
Grilled BBQ Tofu
450 g extra firm tofu
4 tbsp soy sauce
4 tbsp maple syrup
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
2 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp lime juice
2 tsp onion powder
2 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp smoked paprika
Cut tofu into thick slices, set aside.
In a medium bowl, whisk together soy sauce, maple syrup, worcestshire sauce, olive oil, lime juice, onion powder, garlic powder and smoked paprika.
In a gallon size Ziploc bag or large bowl, combine the marinade and tofu; marinate for at least 1 hour to overnight, turning the bag occasionally. Drain the tofu from the marinade.
Preheat grill to medium high heat. Add tofu to grill and cook, flipping once and basting with marinade until cooked through, about 2 minutes on each side
Serve with the remaining marinade.

1 onion diced
400 grams extra firm tofu / paneer diced
1 cup yogurt
2 tsp corn flour
1 tsp cumin powder
1 1/2 red chilly powder
1 tsp ginger garlic
1 tsp coriander powder
1/2 garam masala powder
1/2 dry fenugreek leaves
1/2 turmeric powder
Quick And Simple Crispy BBQ Tofu || Authentic Plantbased Eats
1 block extra firm tofu
4 tbsp Cornstarch
2 Vegetable bouillon cube ( Use any all purpose seasoning of choice).
1 tsp Nature’s seasoning
About 3/4 cup Organic Ville BBQ sauce
Enough oil to fry.

Tofu Skewers I The Buddhist Chef
These tofu skewers are the best way to make everybody enjoy tofu. Perfect for BBQ, you can also bake them if you prefer. I suggest using extra-firm tofu and not overcooking it.
450 g extra firm tofu, diced
1/4 cup soy sauce (60 ml)
1/4 cup maple syrup (60 ml)
1 tbsp liquid smoke (or toasted sesame oil)
2 garlic cloves, chopped
2 tbsp vegetable oil
In a bowl, combine soy sauce, maple syrup, liquid smoke and chopped garlic.
Add the tofu and let marinate in the refrigerator for 60 to 90 minutes, or cover and refrigerate overnight, turning occasionally.
Drain the marinade into a saucepan, bring to boil and simmer for 5 minutes.
Thread the cubes of tofu onto skewers.
For the BBQ:
Preheat the grill, setting the burners to high. Oil the grate.
Brush the skewers with oil.
Grill the skewers for 3 minutes on each side and brush with the marinade.
Serve garnish with green onions and pass the remaining sauce.
Preheat the oven to 400˚F (200˚C)
Place the skewers in a baking dish.
Pour the marinade over the skewers and bake for 20 to 30 minutes, flipping once halfway through cooking.
Serve garnish with green onions and pass the remaining sauce.

CRISPY VEGAN BBQ TOFU RECIPE in sweet and hot sauce - Great meatless food alternative
CRISPY VEGAN BBQ TOFU STRIPES in sweet and hot BBQ sauce recipe is presented in this video. I show how to make meatless meal as alternative to chicken bbq. I explain how to easy it is to make delicious tofu meal and also share with you some cooking tricks. Below you will find complete list of ingredients and instructions.
1 pkg TOFU
1/4 cup POTATO STARCH FLOUR
1/3 cup or as needed BBQ SAUCE
3 - 4 tbsp COOKING OIL
Optional: Roasted Garlic Dressing or any of your choice.
1) Cut tofu in stripes. Place tofu on a drainer. Keep drainer in a sink or in a big glass bowl. Pour boiling water over tofu stripes. This process is a key as it will help tofu to be firm so it will not fall apart so easily.
2) Place paper towel on the cutting board. Separately place tofu stripes on the board. Place another paper towel sheet on the top of tofu and dry well.
3) Dust tofu well in potato starch flour. It will make tofu crispy after frying.
4) Warm up cooking oil on the pan. Place tofu stripes on the pan and fry them for 10- 15 minutes or until golden. Flip over and fry another 5-8 minutes.
5) Place crispy tofu stripes in a boul. Pour over some of your favorite sweet and hot bbq sauce. Cover well all stripes. Serve with you favorite dressing.

Barbecue pan-grilled tofu
1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
3/4 cup apple cider vinegar
4 Tbsp. molasses
4 Tbsp. maple syrup
1 Tbsp. gluten-free soy sauce
1/2 Tbsp. garlic powder
1/2 Tbsp. onion powder
1 1/2 tsp. paprika
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. ground black pepper
1/4 cup water
1 pkg. (14 oz.) tofu, drained and cut into six pieces
To a sauce pan add tomato paste, vinegar, molasses, maple syrup, soy sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Whisk together. Add water and whisk again until smooth. Heat over low-medium heat, continuing to whisk, until thickened—about 20 minutes (don’t boil). Remove from heat and set to the side. Place the tofu pieces in a greased grill pan over medium-high heat. Let cook for 5-10 minutes (until grill marks appear). Flip and cook the other sides the same way. Brush the tops with barbecue sauce and flip-let cook about a minute. Brush with more sauce, flip and cook again about a minute. Brush with more barbecue sauce right before serving. Store the remaining sauce in an air-tight container in the fridge. Makes about three servings, and about 1 1/2 cups of barbecue sauce.

BBQ Baked Tofu! / Easy, Everyday Barbecue Tofu WOOHOO!
Looking at a naked chunk of tofu really begs a lot of questions. Like: what do I do with it? HOW do I do something with this? And why did the tofu cross the road?
(The answer to the latter is - to prove he wasn’t chicken.)
And because my whole jam is to show you how to eat more healthfully without hating your life - or without hating what’s on your plate, I’m excited to show you a way to make tofu that won’t send you running towards a steak.
This is my BBQ tofu recipe, and it’s one of the easiest and least suckiest ways to eat a pretty lame tasting but muy importante source of plant protein.
I love to add this BBQ tofu to stuffed sweet potatoes, quinoa and veggie dishes, pasta dishes, zoodles with pesto, wraps, tacos, and right into my mouth a la a fork.
All you need is BBQ sauce, and I guarantee you’ll never look at a naked block of tofu helplessly again!

Grilled Tofu Tikka Masala
Servings - 2 - 3
Tofu - 440 grams
Garlic paste - 1 teaspoon
Ginger paste - 1 teaspoon
Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
Chilli flakes - 1/2 teaspoon
Lemon juice - 2 tablespoons
Fresh cream - 60 grams
BBQ sauce - 2 tablespoons
Black cardamom - 1 pod
Dry red chili - 2
Coriander seeds - 1 tablespoon
Butter - 40 grams
Cumin - 1/2 teaspoon
Garlic - 2 tablespoons
Ginger - 2 1/2 tablespoons
Onions - 210 grams
Tomato - 230 grams
Green chili - 1 tablespoon
Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
Red chili - 1/2 teaspoon
Turmeric - 1 teaspoon
Garam masala - 1 teaspoon
Fresh cream - 90 grams
Water - 150 milliliters
Coriander - for garnihsing
1. In a mixing bowl, add 440 grams tofu, 1 teaspoon garlic paste, 1 teaspoon ginger paste, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1/2 teaspoon chilli flakes, 2 tablespoons lemon juice, 60 grams fresh cream, 2 tablespoons bbq sauce and mix all the ingredients well.
2. Marinate for 20 minutes.
3. Soak skewers in water for 30 minutes.
4. Skewer the tofu in it.
5. Shallow fry till it turns golden brown in color from all sides.
6. Remove it from heat and drain it on an absorbent paper.
7. Take a pan, add 1 pod black cardamom, 2 dry red chili, 1 tablespoon coriander seeds and dry roast for 2 - 3 minutes or until it turns golden brown in color.
8. Remove it from heat and transfer this into a blender.
9. Blend it into a fine powder and keep aside.
10. Heat 40 grams butter in a skillet, add 1/2 teaspoon cumin and stir well.
11. Add 2 tablespoons garlic, 2 1/2 tablespoons ginger and stir for 1 - 2 minutes on medium heat.
12. Then, add 210 grams onions and fry till translucent.
13. Now, add 230 grams tomato, 1 tablespoon green chili and saute until it turns soft and pulpy.
14. Cook for 5 - 7 minutes on medium heat.
15. Add 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1/2 teaspoon red chili, 1 teaspoon turmeric, 1 teaspoon garam masala, prepared masala and mix it well.
16. Then, add 90 grams fresh cream and mix it well.
17. Cook for 3 - 5 minutes on medium heat.
18. Add 150 milliliters water and mix it well.
19. Bring it to a boil.
20. Now, add the cooked tofu in it and mix it well.
21. Cook for another 3 - 5 minutes on medium heat.
22. Garnish with coriander.
23. Serve hot with roti.
Crunchy Korean fried tofu ( Dubu gangjeong: 두부강정 )
- ingredients -
A block of tofu, 1tbsp sesame salt, 1tbsp sesame oil,
1tbsp thick soy sauce, a bulk of peeled garlics,
1tbsp sugar, 2tbsp starch syrup, 3tbsp ketchup,
1tbsp chili pepper paste, 4tbsp starch powder, pepper powder
- recipe -
1. Remove moisture of tofu and dice it.
2. Mince the garlics.
3. Put the tofu, starch syrup in a plastic bag and shake it to mix them.
4. Oil a pan and fry the tofu to be yellowish.
5. Add sesame oil, minced garlic and fry them.
6. Add thick soy sauce, ketchup, chili pepper paste, sugar, starch syrup and boil them.
7. Add pepper powder a little.
8. When it's boiling, turn off the heat. Add thetofu and stir them.
9. Add sesame salt.
