For the full Chewy Granola Bar Recipe with ingredient amounts and instructions, please visit our recipe page on Inspired Taste:
A simple, soft and chewy granola bars that's delicious as-is or can be adapted based on your favorite dried fruits, nuts or chocolate.
These granola bars are so much better than what you can by at the store, especially since you can substitute for your favorite dried fruit or nuts. While these are very simple to make, there is a 2-hour wait for the bars to firm up enough to cut. Feel free to add your favorite dried fruit, nuts or chocolate to these – it’s completely up to you. Since we use a 1/3 cup of honey, we like to splurge on higher quality honey.

ingredients:

100 gms wheat flour
75 gms jaggery powder (coconut sugar or brown sugar)
2 tbsp flax seeds
2 tbsp flax meal (ground flax seeds) + 5 tbsp water
2 tbsp cinnamon powder
2 scoop whey protein isolate (entirely optional, use only if you are into gymming)
1/2 cup roasted peanuts
1/2 cup chopped almonds
1/2 cup chopped dark chocolate (or chocolate chips)
1/4 cup virgin coconut oil
1/2 cup raisins
1/3 cup pure sugarcane jaggery (can use melted jaggery, maple syrup, palm syrup, cane sugar, coconut sugar etc)
1/2 cup water or almond milk.
----
do not use honey as a sweetener in this recipe, honey should never be heated.
you can use maple syrup instead of jaggery.
The pure sugar cane jaggery I used is locally sourced and it comes in this melted form, I have shared other recipes with it also.
The flaxseeds and oats will get roasted/toasted in the oven along with the other ingredients, so you do not need to toast them separately.
Bake in preheated oven at 180 degree C for 20-25 mins, for some oven it may require 20-22 mins, oven temperature varies with oven, so keep an eye on it after 20 mins.

Nanaimo Bars Recipe Demonstration - Joyofbaking.com
Recipe here: Stephanie Jaworski of Joyofbaking.com demonstrates how to make Nanaimo Bars. Nanaimo Bars are one of Canada's favorite confections. The beautiful City of Nanaimo, British Columbia has claimed them as their own. The story goes that a Nanaimo housewife entered a recipe for a chocolate square in a magazine contest. She called her recipe 'Nanaimo Bars'. She won the contest, and her Nanaimo Bars eventually became popular throughout Canada, as did the town they were named after. These no-bake, three layered bars are famous for a reason, they are delicious. They start with a Graham Cracker Crumb base, followed by a layer of custard buttercream, and the crowning glory is a smooth and glossy layer of dark chocolate.

HEALTHY LEMON BARS RECIPE
Ingredients:
For crust:
1 cup ground oats (or oat flour) (100g)
1/4 cup honey (85g)
1/4 cup coconut oil (50g)
For filling:
5 large eggs
1/2 cup honey (170g)
1/2 cup lemon juice (120ml)
1 tbsp lemon zest
1/3 cup ground oats (or oat flour) (35g)
Preparation:
For the crust: in the bowl, combine the ground oats, softened coconut oil and honey. Mix with the fork until the dough just comes together.
In a lined 8 by 8 inch (20 by 20 cm) baking pan spread the oat mixture, pressing with the fingers around the corners.
Bake at 350F (180C) degrees for 10 minutes. Let it cool until you make the lemon filling.
For the filling: in another bowl, beat your eggs, then add the honey, lemon juice, lemon zest and ground oats. Mix until well combined.
Pour the egg mixture over the oatmeal crust and bake at 350F (180C) degrees for 20-25 minutes, until set but still soft when gently touched.
Let it cool for 1 hour at room temperature, then place the baking pan into the fridge for 3-4 hours.
Cut in 9 equal squares (or 16 if you want smaller pieces).
Dust with the powdered sweetener, if you wish.
Enjoy!
