Strawberry Scones Recipe
This recipe for strawberry scones is very easy, takes only 10 to 15 minutes to prepare and you end up having a memorable breakfast. These scones are best served warm just after taking them out of the oven. The sprinkled sugar on top creates a crispy crust while the interior is soft and filled with strawberries. It's really hard to resist.

WHAT TO BAKE? MAKE DARK CHOCOLATE AND STRAWBERRY SCONES! #BakeWithMe | #Fresh #Yummy #Easy!
RECIPE! DARK CHOCOLATE STRAWBERRY SCONES WITH CHOCOLATE ICING:
Adapted from A Latte Food
2 cups all-purpose flour
1/4 cup brown sugar or coconut sugar ( I used coconut sugar)
1 tablespoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 stick cold unsalted butter, cubed
1 large egg, lightly beaten
1/3 cup + 2 Tbsp cold heavy cream
3/4 cup strawberries, hulled and finely diced
3/4 cup dark chocolate chunks
extra heavy cream for brushing the tops
CHOCOLATE DRIZZLE:
1 Tbsp semi-sweet or dark chocolate melted
1 Tbsp heavy cream
1/4 cup powdered sugar
INSTRUCTIONS:
Preheat oven to 400.
In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, salt, , and baking powder together. Cut in cold butter with a pastry cutter and mix the dough until the butter is about the size of peas and the dough resembles coarse crumbs.
Mix heavy cream and egg together, and pour into the scone batter while stirring gently. Stir just until combined.
With a couple paper towels, squeeze as much juice out of the strawberries as possible (a few good squeezes should be enough; this keeps the strawberries from releasing too much juice into the dough). Add strawberries into the dough. Add chocolate chunks into dough. Fold until just combined.
On a floured surface, turn out the dough and pat into a 1-inch thick circle. Cut the dough into eighths, place on a greased baking sheet, brush with heavy cream, and bake for 14-16 minutes, or until golden brown.
While the scones are cooling, microwave for 20 seconds together, dark chocolate chunks and heavy cream. Stir and add powdered sugar. Once combined, drizzle the icing over the scones.
Enjoy every bite!

초콜릿 스콘 만들기 : Chocolate Scone Recipe | Cooking tree

Enjoy~

▶레시피

No Bake Strawberry Chocolate Tart Recipe
A decadent chocolaty dessert - this No-Bake Strawberry Chocolate Tart takes no more than 15 minutes to put together and it is AMAZING.
Ingredients
Makes about 10-12 servings
Crust
32 (330g) Oreo cookies, whole
1/2 cup (110g) butter, melted
Chocolate Filling
7 oz (200g) milk chocolate
3.5 oz (100g) bittersweet chocolate (55-70% cacao)
7 oz (200 ml) heavy cream
Topping
10 oz (300g) fresh strawberries
chopped nuts (almonds, pistachios, etc), optional
Directions
1. Place oreo cookies (with filling, no need to remove it this time) into the bowl of a food processor and blend until crumbs form. Add melted butter and pour over the crushed cookies. Process until evenly moistened. Press cookie mixture with the back of the spoon and your fingers where necessary, into the bottom and edges of a rectangular 5x14 inch (12 x 36 cm) tart pan. Freeze until you prepare the filling, just for few minutes.
2. In a small saucepan, place cream over medium-low heat for a few minutes to get hot. No boiling or simmering needed. Remove from heat, pour over chopped chocolate and let rest for 1-2 minutes. Stir until dissolved.
3. Pour chocolate filling over oreo crust, and top with fresh strawberries.
4. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight before serving.

Chocolate Pecan Scones
RECIPE COURTESY OF INA GARTEN
Yield: makes 14 to 16 large scones
Ingredients
3 tablespoons plus 4 cups all-purpose flour, divided
1 1/2 cups medium-diced bittersweet chocolate, such as Lindt (8 ounces)
1 cup chopped pecans
2 tablespoons sugar, plus additional for sprinkling
2 tablespoons baking powder
4 teaspoons kosher salt
3/4 pound cold unsalted butter, 1/2-inch diced
1 cup cold heavy cream
4 extra-large eggs, lightly beaten
1 egg beaten with 2 tablespoons water or cream, for egg wash
Directions
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Arrange two racks evenly spaced in the oven. Line two sheet pans with parchment paper.
In a small bowl, combine the 3 tablespoons flour with the chocolate and pecans and set aside.
In the bowl of an electric mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, combine the 4 cups flour, the sugar, baking powder, and salt. Add the butter and, with the mixer on low speed, blend until the butter is the size of peas. Measure the cream in a 2-cup glass measuring cup, add the eggs, and beat until combined. With the mixer still on low, pour the wet mixture into the dry mixture and combine just until blended. Add the chocolate and pecan mixture and mix just until combined. The dough will be very sticky.
Dump the dough out onto a very well-floured surface and knead it a few times to be sure the chocolate and pecans are well distributed, adding a little flour so the dough doesn't stick to the board. Flour your hands and a rolling pin and roll the dough 3/4 to 1 inch thick. You should see lumps of butter in the dough. Cut the dough with a 3-inch plain round cutter and place the scones on the prepared sheet pans. Reroll the scraps and cut out more scones. Brush the tops with the egg wash, sprinkle with sugar, and bake for 20 minutes, switching the pans halfway through, until the tops are lightly browned and the insides are fully baked. Serve warm or at room temperature.
Cook’s Note
Pro tip: Cold bits of butter in the dough ensure flaky scones. When the heat hits the bits of butter, the water in the butter turns to steam and makes the dough rise.

[NO OVEN] Cherry blossoms Strawberry scone~* : Cho's daily cook
[NO OVEN] Cherry blossoms Strawberry scone~* : Cho's daily cook
I made strawberry scones as cherry blossom, the blooming season has gone already, though. ~^-^*
Actually I started shooting this video 2 weeks ago, but uploaded late due to 4 times of changes on the recipe ㅠㅠ.
I failed few times in my recipe due to the raw strawberries, as you know, strawberries are one of the most watery fruits. In addition, in order to bake it in a pan, i tried 4 times to find proper timing and amount of ingredient. (That's the reason why I delayed uploading)
There is a baking ingredient called Dried Strawberry Dice. It's small pieces of dried strawberries. I think it would be easier to cook with it than with raw strawberries. But, you may add more milk so that you can replace lost moisture.
Strawberry dice is the one I used before to make Strawberry Dacquoise!
'Strawberry 'Dacquoise' video -
I added strawberry powder and cut the flower shape out of the dough.
I could make 5 pieces of scone with flower shape and 6 pieces of scone with square shape~^^
Please bake on low heat when you bake in a pan to not burn the scones.
Don't forget to bake the scones on parchment paper and brush the bottom of the scone dough with a bit of flour to avoid the bottoms from getting stuck on the parchment paper.
One more tip for you, bake the side you wanna make look nice the first~^^
The first side touching the pan becomes flatter and more golden. It's done~*
The taste is soft, sweet and fruity~^^
You don't need an Oven, anyone can try~!
Enjoy your baking~*

Strawberry Puff Pastry Braid Recipe
Whenever you need a quick and delicious sweet treat no matter the occasion you might consider this Strawberry Puff Pastry Braid. It looks great and quite fancy as if it takes a lot of time to prepare but really takes no more than 10 minutes to have it done and ready to bake.
To print the recipe check the full recipe on my blog:
Ingredients
Makes about 6 servings
9.5 oz (270g) puff pastry sheet, thawed
4oz (120g) cream cheese
¼ cup (50g) sugar
8 oz (230g) fresh strawberries, cut into slices
1 tsp (5g) vanilla extract
1 small egg, beaten, for brushing
1 tsp sugar, on top
1. Preheat the oven to 400F (200C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. In a small bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth. Add sugar and vanilla and mix until well combined.
3. Transfer the pastry dough into the prepared baking sheet. Try to work quickly as you want to keep the dough chilled.
4.Draw a rectangle into the center of the sheet leaving about 5 in (12cm) border on each side and a 1 in (2.5 cm) border at top and bottom of rectangle. Start making diagonal cuts about 1 inch apart on both sides of the rectangle. Discard the 4 corners of the dough.
5. Spread cream cheese mixture down into the center and arrange strawberry slices on top.
6. Fold the top and bottom parts of the dough over the filling. Fold the diagonal strips of dough over the filling, alternating sides until all loaf is braided. Press ends to seal.
7. Brush the braid with beaten egg and sprinkle sugar on top.
8. Bake for 25-30 minutes until puffed and golden brown.
9. Cool completely to a wire rack before serving.

Recipe here: Stephanie Jaworski of Joyofbaking.com demonstrates how to make Welsh Cakes. Welsh Cakes are very similar to a scone, only instead of baking them in the oven they are cooked on a griddle. Welsh Cakes have a lovely golden brown outer crust, yet inside they are wonderfully soft.

LEMON SCONES
4 1/2 C all-purpose flour
2/3 C granulated sugar
2 Tbsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
Finely grated zest of 2 lemons
6 Tbsp cold butter cut into 1/4-inch pieces
1 1/2 C heavy whipping cream
1 egg yolk beaten slightly
10 Tbsp freshly squeeze lemon juice
Instructions
Heat the oven to 400°.
Sift the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt into a large mixing bowl.
Add the lemon zest and mix again.
Using pastry whips or a pastry blender cut the butter into the mixture until it's become fine crumbs.
Pour in the cream, the yolk, and the lemon juice and blend it together until the dough holds together.
Scrape the dough onto a flour-dusted surface and then, using floured hands, knead it gently three or four times.
Create 4 equal sized balls
Flatten the balls into a disk about 3/4-inch thick, then cut it as you would a pie into 6 wedges.
Bake the scones in the center of the oven until golden brown, about 16 to 18 minutes. Serve with Berry Coulis and Creme Fraiche
